Ways to help avoid Insomnia

It is hard to avoid insomnia if you have it.  However, there are natural ways to help as well.  Take a hot bath 2-3 hours from the time you want to go to sleep.  This will help you relax and get control of your mood.  Additionally, taking some time for yourself has always been a good thing as well as the water is relaxing.  Make sure your bedroom is a good temperature, dark and comfortable. 

Furthermore, put on some relaxing mood music softly.  Exercise before dinner 4-6 hours before bed.  This will get some anxious energy out but then not have you wound up for bedtime.  Don’t lay in your bed for too long.
